Often Single Adults don’t feel that they fit in at
church. It’s not easy to go to church and see happy couples attending
church together and not have anyone to be with. Whether divorced, widowed,
or never married, the Single Adult faces challenges daily that sometimes
seem insurmountable, and this is especially true on Sundays.

No church wants anyone to feel
left out, but when most of the decisions made in churches are
made by people who are married, a “Singles Ministry” is almost
like an “add-on” and not an integral part of the church.
Air Line is unique. The teachers in our Singles Department are
single, and a single man in our department serves on the deacon
board. They understand the challenges Single Adults face.
Air Line Baptist Church loves Singles. We are valued on equal
footing with Married, and Single Adults have a strong voice in
what happens within our fellowship. And, single parents find
that Air Line is a fellowship where everyone “adopts” each
other’s kids. We work together to see that no child is left out
because he or she is not in a two-parent household.
We do not minimize the importance of marriage, and married
couples feel at home at Air Line. Our married couples don’t look
at Singles as if they have some sort of spiritual disease.
Come EXPERIENCE and FEEL the love and understanding that Air
