Spiritual Information For Your Life

We are all sinners, everyone.  Every single day in the world, thousands of children are born into the bondage of sin.  It's not because of the way our parents were raised or the place that we came into this world at; everyone is born into sin.  But, because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, everyone in this world can be set free of this bondage

Five Steps To Salvation

The First step to creating a personal relationship with Christ is simple, but sometimes the hardest to accept:  "There is none righteous, no, not one." (Romans 3: 10)  "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3: 23)  You have to realize that no man is perfect, we all sin and you have to admit this to yourself and to God.  Admittance is the beginning of salvation.

Step Two on the road to salvation is to believe in Christ.  Without Christ we are nothing, He is the base on which we must build our lives.  It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we may be saved and spend an eternity with God in heaven.  "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."  (Acts 4: 12)  You must believe that Jesus Christ is our one and only Savior.

Step Three, understand the consequences of turning away Christ.  "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."  (Romans 6: 23)  Hell is real, everyone has a different idea about what Hell will look and be like, but one thing is for certain; if you separate yourself from God in life, then you will suffer eternal separation from God in death.

The Fourth step is to repent of your sins.  "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."  (Luke 13: 15)  It is the goal of every Christian to become like Christ.  To become Christ-like, we must turn away from our old sinful life and pray to God that our sins be wiped clean.

The Final step to establishing a relationship with Christ is to ask Him.  "And it shall be, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."  (Acts 2: 21)  "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
(Romans 10: 9-10)  All it takes is a minute to pray for your salvation...isn't it about time to meet your Maker?
